Patch notes: order numbering system update
Dear Users!
Today’s message is short, but dense in information. From now on, it is possible to edit the order number! What does that mean in practice?
Prior to switching to Space TMS, translation agencies often have an order numbering system created for their own use. This is convenient until it turns out that the needs are increasingly growing and a more advanced tool, such as our TMS, becomes necessary. Then, many changes to the agency’s daily operations, which employees must learn and get used to, take place at once. It’s not easy, especially since previously transparent processes, such as order numbering, are changing and become hazy.
With this feature, we try to deal with those inconveniences. We know that using Space TMS requires many new skills, especially at the initial stages. That is why, we want to make the system as user-friendly as possible. This patch introduces the possibility to edit the order number. This way, everyone is able to set their own convenient numbering system. The feature is also useful when a translator does not respond to the created order, and the deadline for its acceptance passes. A new order must be created either way, but from now on, it may have the same ID. What a relief!
Your issue reports and commitment to Space TMS development make us grow at an extraordinary pace. Together, we will create a tool which we will conquer the world with. Thank you!
