The language service professionals industry sometimes can seem like a perfect place for people who like solitude and avoid social life. In fact it is completely on the opposite while translation business revolves around communication. That is why its events are so important.

Many companies maintain contact between themselves, exchange tips and experience made in earlier projects. Of course there is competition, but some lsps often work together on bigger tasks. Such assignments are often provided by large corporations or government agencies.

The bigger your network is the better

Its obvious that participating in events can be the best opportunity to estabilish new contacts, meet interesting people and above all, find new business partners. Even though we have the travel restrictions due to Covid-19 pandemic, many event invite their participants to online semminars and discussions. This is also an opportunity to get social and meet new friends, one can never have too many of!
